Is the Stadsburcht energy-efficient?

  • No, the original design dates from the 19th century and is poorly insulated.
  • Energy efficiency is partly achieved by smart, selective heating using gas stoves. Energy bills are €400–500/month for 6 residents (≈ €70–80 pp).

  • Yes. It’s a combination of two houses: upper house (369-A) = 183 m², lower house (369-B) = 174 m². Separation is possible via division permit.

Is the Stadsburcht for rent?

When will the restoration be finished?

  • No exact date, but most work is done. Kitchens and bathrooms are not scheduled for renovation.
  • The owner has lived here for 40+ years and started restoration in Sept 2023 with professionals. No rush.

Will the Stadsburcht be sold only after the restoration is completed?
